These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of, enrollment in, and use of online courses, digital materials, and related content provided by Moon + Magnolia ("we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using a Moon + Magnolia course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not purchase or access our courses.

1. Educational Purposes

Moon + Magnolia courses and materials are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are based on our experience, research, methods, and practices and are intended to help you learn skills related to sourdough, baking, cooking, homemaking, and other topics covered by our courses.

The information provided is not intended to replace professional medical, nutritional, legal, financial, or other individualized professional advice.

2. Course Access

When you purchase a course, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access the course and its included materials according to the access terms stated on the course sales page at the time of purchase.

Course content may be updated, revised, replaced, or removed as needed. We may also change the platform or technology used to deliver a course.

Unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of purchase, course access is provided for as long as Moon + Magnolia continues to offer and support the course. "Lifetime access," if used in promotional materials, refers to the lifetime of the course rather than the lifetime of the purchaser.

3. Personal Use and Account Sharing

Your purchase is for your personal use only.

You may not share your course login information or provide another person with access to your account. You may not purchase one enrollment for use by a group, class, organization, or business unless you have received written permission from Moon + Magnolia.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate course access if we reasonably believe an account is being shared or used in violation of these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

All course content and materials are owned by or licensed to Moon + Magnolia and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Purchasing a course gives you permission to use these materials personally. It does not transfer ownership or copyright to you.

5. Permitted Use

You may:

Unless otherwise expressly permitted in writing, all other uses are prohibited.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, distribute, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make Moon + Magnolia course materials available to others.

You may not:

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict uses permitted by applicable law.

7. Recipes and Results

Cooking, baking, sourdough fermentation, and similar processes are affected by many variables, including ingredients, equipment, temperature, humidity, technique, and individual circumstances.

Although we strive to provide clear and accurate instructions, we cannot guarantee that you will achieve a particular result from any recipe, method, or technique.

You are responsible for determining whether ingredients, recipes, equipment, and techniques are appropriate for you and your household.

8. Food and Kitchen Safety

You are responsible for following appropriate food handling, storage, preparation, and kitchen safety practices.

Always use appropriate care when working with ovens, stoves, knives, hot cookware, appliances, fermentation, and other kitchen equipment or processes.

If you or someone in your household has a food allergy, intolerance, medical condition, or dietary restriction, you are responsible for determining whether a recipe or ingredient is appropriate and safe.

9. Refunds

Unless otherwise required by law, refunds will not be provided.

10. Payments

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information when purchasing a course.

Prices, promotions, payment plans, and other purchase terms are those displayed at the time of purchase. If a course is offered through a payment plan, you remain responsible for completing all payments according to the terms presented at checkout.

11. Third-Party Platforms and Technology

Our courses may be delivered through Thinkific or other third-party platforms and may rely on third-party payment processors, video hosting providers, email providers, or other services.

We are not responsible for temporary interruptions or technical problems caused by your internet connection, device, browser, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

If a technical issue on our end prevents you from accessing content you purchased, please contact us so we can make reasonable efforts to restore your access.

12. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to a course if you materially violate these Terms, including by sharing account credentials, distributing course materials, infringing our intellectual property rights, or using the course in an unlawful manner.

Termination of access for a material violation of these Terms does not automatically entitle you to a refund, except where required by applicable law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, courses and materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information but do not warrant that all course content will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every individual circumstance.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Moon + Magnolia and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use a course or its materials.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a course will not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Changes to Courses and These Terms

We may update course content, materials, features, or these Terms from time to time.

Changes to these Terms will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will apply prospectively as required by applicable law.
